Tibet Watch are the leading experts in sourcing and sharing information about what’s happening in occupied Tibet: one of the most closed-off places in the world. Using satellite and drone images, first-hand testimonies, and open-source policy research, Tibet Watch is building a picture of a human rights crisis that continues to escalate.

You won’t hear about Tibet in the mainstream news. It was Tibet Watch who broke the news of Buddhist statue demolitions in Drago County two years ago, culminating in Desecration in Drago County (2022), the research report that shook the world.

Now our researchers are preparing their next report: an investigation into language erasure in occupied Tibet. We want to release the report this year, but it needs a big push – that’s where you come in. Can you support the work of our research team this year?

Everything you donate between 12 noon (GMT) on Monday 18th March and 12 midnight (GMT) on Monday 25th March will be doubled. You can donate from anywhere in the world: just visit www.justgiving.com/campaign/tibetmatch2024 from 18th March.

We are Free Tibet, and we stand with Tibetans around the world. For their homeland, for their future and against China’s brutal occupation.
