Tibet has been occupied for over 70 years. During this time over 100 nations have gained their independence. We don’t know how much longer Tibetans will have to struggle for their freedom but we do know that Free Tibet will be with them every step of the way. We’ll be mobilising support, putting pressure on governments, and fighting for Tibetans’ rights for as long as it takes.

A legacy for Tibet

A gift to Free Tibet in your will is an empowered way to influence the future of Tibet. It will honour your memory, keep your ideals alive and be a valuable contribution to the campaign for Tibetan freedom for years to come.

Your gift doesn’t need to be a large amount to make a difference. Currently, gifts range from a few hundred pounds to hundreds of thousands of pounds; all legacies mean we can have a greater impact.

"I've been a supporter since Free Tibet started over 35 years ago and as a hard-hitting and uncompromising campaign, I trust Free Tibet won’t give up until freedom is won. That could be long after I’m gone! I am also leaving Free Tibet’s charity partner, Tibet Watch, a gift in my will, because I know their research and human rights monitoring is vital to the campaign. Splitting my gift in this way means I can support Tibet whilst also knowing that I am minimising my Inheritance Tax bill."

We are Free Tibet, and we stand with Tibetans around the world. For their homeland, for their future and against China’s brutal occupation.
