A 23-year-old Tibetan nomadic woman, Tamdin Tso (1), set fire to herself today, between 5 and 6pm (local time), near Rongwo in Rebkong County, Eastern Tibet (2). Tamdin Tso died at the scene. She had a five year-old son.

At approximately 3.30p.m (local time) today, a 58 year-old Tibetan man, Dorjee Rinchen (1: portrait), set fire to himself (2: photograph) in protest at China’s occupation of Tibet in Labrang, Sangchu County, Eastern Tibet (3). Dorjee Rinchen died at the scene.

A Tibetan man in his 50s called Dhondup set fire to himself at approximately 9:30am (local time) today at Labrang Monastery, Eastern Tibet (1). Dhondup (2) is believed to have died at the scene.

A 27-year-old man today became the latest Tibetan to set himself on fire and die in protest against China’s occupation of Tibet. Lhamo Kyab self-immolated around 2pm (local time) today.

A 52-year-old Tibetan named Tamdrin Dorjee is the latest Tibetan to self-immolate.

He set himself on fire near Tso Monastery in Tso City, Kanlho Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Eastern Tibet (1) at around 1pm local time today. He died at the scene.

A 24-year-old Tibetan nomad called Jopa (1) set fire to himself at 10:15am (local time) today in Meruma, approximately 20 kilometres from Ngaba Town, Ngaba County, Eastern Tibet (2). Jopa set fire to himself to protest China’s occupation of Tibet, according to reports.

A man set fire to himself in Ngaba Town, Eastern Tibet (1) at 5:30pm local time today. According to an eyewitness, Chinese state security personnel quickly extinguished the flames at the scene on the main road in Ngaba.
